    Got my Delay notice for Inspiron, co-ordered Vostro

    So yeah, they didn't call me or email me, but I called in and they said my new esd for the Inspiron 1720 was 8/28 due to backorders with the yellow lid.

    I ordered a Vostro 1700 today for $1460... it's due to come in on 8/30.

    Something tells me my Vostro's going to ship sooner than the Inspiron... just a gut feeling. =/

    Okay, I just got free upgrading shipping for the Vostro... but apparently they're having a problem with the LCD screens and it's been 'delayed' until 9/6... although I haven't seen that change yet.

    IN TESTING!! MY VOSTRO'S IN TESTING!!

    I ordered at about 12 noon yesterday, I called in about 9 this morning, it's already in testing. I'm going to wait until it's a day into boxing before cancelling the Inspiron though... I'm hoping it'll finish before the Vostro ships...
