    Got my Inspiron 1520, whats the easiest way to see if this is grainy screen?

    Open up notepad or go to google.com (fill your screen with whitespace).

    If you can't see it then (the splotchy, oily, sandy, etc that is graininess), then you don't have it. :D

    Well i still cant tell if it is, like i dont know what graniy screen looks like..

    You know those little holographic gift cards that change when you look at them from different angles? You know how they have that weird shimmer to them? That's kind of what it looks like.

    Coming from someone with ongoing issues awaisuk, stop looking and enjoy the laptop. If you cannot see it, why does it matter.

    There are some DOTS, really small dots around the whole screen....
