Got my price adjustment from Dell!!!!!!

I will be receiving a $723.51 price adjustment on my credit card. This is for a price adjustment based on the 33% + 12% epp discount offered by dell 0n 4/14/05. It has taken me 3 weeks, many phone calls but Dell is coming through with my price adjustment!!!!
The other issues with opening a Dell credit account without my consent have finally been resolved as well!
Needless to say, I'm a very, very happy camper!!!

All I know is that I did not pay to become a member of this website therefor customer service is not a large issue. They are doing this as a service to people and aren't making a profit off of this forum.

I think that they can make exceptions as they wish (as long as they aren't ridiculous) and one extra post is honestly the most minute problem ever.

Sorry heartofgold, but I really disagree with making such a big deal over such a small issue.

 

I posted my experiences with Dell as an aid to others. It was meant to help prevent others from having similar experiences. If anyone would like to know what steps I took to resovle my issues I would be happy to post them. Just post and I will reply. Thats what I thought forums were for.

We all come here either to get help or to help others. The last topic was good information, until it got ruin because of the accustations and fighting (which seem to happen alot around certain people).

Personally, I'm glad it got locked (thank-you abaxter). The last few posts on there were not relevant to the topic, and they were not helping anyone which defeats the purpose of this forum.

Neither one of you know what I'm talking about...referring to. It has nothing to do with the subject being locked. It wasn't my subject so it doesn't effect me. Where Jgerber came in to the picture was by Abaxter favoring him petrsonally and intentionaly putting me down!

I didn't want to go into to details about what Abaxter knew so that left people assuming different things. I was helping Jwardell and all of a sudden it was a huge arguement!

When I saw the new post I was inside happy for jwardell but couldn't respond with that because he didn't see it that way! I did how ever jump on Abaxter for reasons he knows again leading people to assume only what they can by my comment!

I'm totally surprised that you would even comment without asking what I was talking about. You were brand new and was one of the reasons when I think about leaving ..that made me want to stay!

The same goes for you! Nothing was done ever to you personally by me that was not extra especially good. Now this!

The posts I made to help or being in a thread with both of you ...should show you what I'm really like! Neither one of you have been on the Dell forum as long as I have in days but mainly hours. So you don't know what has been going on! Not to mention many many posts deleted by me or one by a moderator incorrectly because I was threatened....not simple name calling or rudeness! I did not say a word back to this person because they were bordering on criminal threats depending how far the person would go. Everyone else in the thread was nice and sticking to the topic of me posting all the new coupons ahead of time. not one person said anything to the guy that kept threatening my life ...and all my hard work was gone along with the entire thread instead of getting rid of the one bad apple.

My comments are reflected back by the way i'm treated since my first day on the board. I made a comment about trusting my instincts that they are always right and it started from there with a Administrater knocking me and talking about my "supernatural super hero powers" not joking around!

I can't explain every detail to every comment because then I get bashed for that also...just like I will for this one!!!

I was brought up with extreme manners and to be extra considerate ....so all this shocked me right from the beginning!

The two of you have "nothing" and "No" reason to add to this regarding me. Both your experiences with me have been normal,pleasant and the way they should be!

This is not an argument and reading the first post with Jwardell, I don't see an argument there either. I read the entire thread and All I see from Herber or Jwardell is relatively docile questions and maybe a slighty agigated one.

I think as you have said in that thread heartofgold, is that everyone can still learn something.

Regardless of your upbringing (which I'm not questioning at all but was brought up by you initially), I think you need to learn to stop blowing things out of proportion.

I've had no problems with you and sill have no problems.

I think you need to not exagerate as much on somethings, that is my advice to you whether you take it or leave it is now up to you.

Lets just drop it, bringing up the past in the first place was not the best move, why don't you drop it and move on, trying to be a little more relaxed and I bet you'd see better results.

This is turning out to be like the locked thread. I'm like Mitcher4. I think what you/we read was a misunderstanding of what we wrote on this topic and the previous topic. It seems to be the case with alot of the fighting. I did go back and read alot of your posts, and reread the topic that was locked.

Abaxter didn't lock it as a personal thing against you. The posts were far from topic and were not helpful towards the topic. If he hadn't closed it, it would be like this one. Is anyone really getting a benefit from these posts about the past?

The only reason I posted what I did is because the fights/misunderstanding...whatever they are....aren't helping anyone
