Well I ordered my vostro on the 22 of August and received on the 31st just before the weekend. So stoked that I got mine super fast. And along with the free wireless keyboard and mouse I got them to throw in, on my bill it says it only cost $755 (cad) instead of $789. (plus tax). AND I have no cpu interference coming through my headphone jack. And although I have an AUO screen I haven't noticed and grainyness. But I have noticed the bottom leaks quite a bit of light at normal angles when the screen is dark. Gotta say so far Im pretty happy.

I ordered mine last Friday, and got it this Friday. I also got the WXGA AUO truelife, and it's perfect. I looked in the newspapers ads this morning and am still amazed at how much laptop I got for just $754, compared to what the retail stores sell them for. Mine has the T5470 processor, Vista Home Premium, 2GB ram, 160GB HD, dedicated graphics card, & webcam. I know it's a little bigger/heavier than some brands, but I'm ok with that. The build quality is amazing, and I really like the all black chassis, which I think makes it look a little smaller than the Inspiron, even though it's not.
