I had a problem regarding my power button and now after 3 days of calling them, the parts arrived in the morning in the courier and the engineer came by right now and did the replacing work..
Interestingly to change the power button the whole top panel had to be replaced..and the lcd panel, lcd case, front panel, keyboard, hinges almost everything has to be unscrewed...the engineer came..sat down with the laptop and took it apart in all of 7-8 mins..and then replaced the whole top cover and fit everything back together taking around 20 mins for the whole procedure...
I also got the AC adaptor and the power cord replaced(though it wasnt necessary)..
After millions of fingerprints and a few minor scratches on the glossy areas around the screen and keyboard the power button seems to be working properly though I feel the lid has become easier(more loose?) to open...I dont need to hold the laptop with two hands to open the lid anymore..
Shud I be worried about tht cause I thought that when its tight and difficult to open it means its screwed up better??
