    Grainy screen noticeable in gaming?

    I was just wondering if it is, haha i think iam just paranoid now. I hope I dont get a grainy screen. If i do get a grainy screen does the warranty cover it?

    Just tell them you aren't happy with it cause it has a bad screen and they should replace it. Of course, that doesn't mean you will get a better screen, just another one, for better or worse.

    No, in gaming the graniness would not be noticeable. Also they will take back the notebook if you say you aren't satisfied (within the first 30 days I believe).

    It's not noticeable. In fact, even when I paint in photoshop, I don't notice it unless I really look for it.

    yeah, its really not noticeable in games at all, but then mine is barely grainy, I only notice it when I read posts about grainy screens :p

    I agree with is not even being noticeable in Photoshop, but then I'm usually too busy being disappointed at the colour reproduction of the screen when working in Photoshop.

    It's noticeable if you look for it. ;) While gaming you tend to focus on the action, not so much the exact look of your monitor; thus, it sort of "blends in".

    If you look closely though, you will see it, especially when you're in a bright area of a game.
