I recieved my 1520 about 2 months ago. Every once and awhile when i wake my computer up from sleep mode the graphics go from 1200 x 800 (i think thats it) to 1020 x 600 (once again i think its that one...i might not be exact) without me even changing it. Any ideas? I've tried ruinning tests, and ive done a defrag a couple times...but everything is ok with my laptop.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

I've had this problem on two laptops. Once I changed the resolution in the nVidia control panel (instead of Vista's display properties) and confirmed my selection (click apply), the problem never came back.

Throwing it down two flights of stairs usually solves this problem for me.

Pink monkey you might have to go and install the drivers from laptopvideo2go. I do not think the dell nvidia drivers have the nvidia control panel.

Yes, Dell's nvidia drivers have the control panel...There NVIDIA drivers, just slightly modified for the Dell machine.

You have the control panel by default. Dell's latest drivers (153.xx) are just modified nVidia drivers.

Right click your desktop and you should see nVidia Control Panel.
