I've been wondering if the Dell XPS M1530 can handle a Geforce 8800 graphics card? Or any other higher-end card that's superior to the 8600 GT? :eek2:

No, almost no laptops have upgradeable graphics cards, read the sticky.....but the 8600M-GT is one of the most overclockable GPU's out...for high-end gaming, I run mine at the speed of an 8600-GTS.

Rivatuner, eVGA's little overclocking app, clockgen.

Those can all overclock different parts of the computer. Does the XPS BIOS support overclocking?

The 8600M GT can play all the new games at a pretty good frame rate so if you want something better than get a M1730 or get a cyberpower pc or asus

no youc an't upgrade becuase your laptop will start to burn to a crisp french fry. then you have a 2k worth metal frenchfry. lol. anything higher will require a 17 inch frame. however, the m15x from AW has a 8800m gtx but it rusn super hot.

Not to mention that the m15x is a lot heavier and thicker than the m1530.
