    I mean, those who have grainy screens, look at your DS touch screen. It looks exactly the same. It's because of the coating and anti-scratch plastic used. It's for a reason. For those who aren't sure if their LCD is grainy, check out a DS lite's touch screen, that's what it looks like, except not as bad really.

    While that's true. The DS screen with the graininess is a touch screen. The LCD in a laptop is not.

    The fact that Dell are providing some laptops with perfect displays and the fact that other manufacturers are providing perfect displays illustrates that grainy screens are not acceptable.
