i recently got my hands on a 32" samsung 720p hdtv for a gooood price. my studio 17 has an hdmi out and the tv has the in. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the quality? will a 32inch lcd make a low res stretched out picture? thanks!

the size of the TV isn't important as is the screen resolution. Seeing as how the 3450 in the Studio 15 is fine at 1920x1200 I am sure the 3650 is fine at any HDTV res you'll find.

You can set the output for the native TV resolution so it will look fine.

The screen size has nothing to do with it. I hooked up my Samsung LCD to my M1210 and it was just fine.

The HDMI cables from Monoprice are great, I have two of them for my TV now.

3650 should look just fine on a 32" TV, for the, most part.

It won't be as sharp your laptop, but it still looks good. It'll look fine if you plan on hooking it up to watch video and then sit on your couch. If you are gaming on it, you might notice a little loss in quality cause you'd be sitting closer.

I acually hooked up my Dell Desktop (Radeon X700 Pro 256mb) to my 32" Samsung LCD to play WoW in the living room last night. I ran @ 1360x768 - Medium Low settings and it looked pretty decent. I also played some UT2K4 on it - fully maxed out at the same rez - yummy.

I'd say, with a 3650, if you are playing older games or newer games (that aren't Crysis / UT3 / COD etc.) they should look great on your TV cause you'll be able to run them on medium high / highest settings. Running a game like crysis on low settings at 1360x768 will not look so great...

so long as the resolution is native . . . I think that everything should look great. I have a crappy GPU hooked up to an olevia 32" and everythings look great, not fuzzy at all. Tough to read anything 6 feet away, but with some tweaking I think its a pretty slick setup.
