    Hi,

I need to get another HDD caddy so that I can put two HDD's in to my 1737. Does anyone know where I can get one from (I'm in Australia)?

    Thanks :)

The Dell sku for the carrier assembly is 341-7101. Can't seem to find it on their website anymore, though. You might try chatting with a sales rep on the site to find out if they know where you can find it.

Yeah I got an extra Caddy, now dual booting 1 SSD, and the stock other HDD for extra storage. 99% of what I do is on my SSD, If have to store a large video file I just drag it to the D: drive. SSD Saves so much battery life and runs so much cooler no moving parts.

Windows 7 64-Bit and SSD drive is win win, I was pissed that I had to buy a separate caddy, should be included with 2 HDD Bays.

I wish the Extra HDD bay could be used for a battery but oh well.

Thanks, I will call Dell, but if they are as expensive as they are on eBay then I don't think I will bother!

I paid around USD $35 for my caddy, interposer, and screws.
    YMMV

Dell should send it to you for free. They sent it to me for no charge.

Do you mean they didn't charge you postage, or they gave you a free caddy? If they gave you a free one, what did you say to them to get it?
