    Hey guys I am installing a new HDD to my Inspiron 1525 since the old one crashed :cool: . Please suggest some good ones.I am really not into gaming and 5400 rpm drive with 250 gb is good.

    Also whats sata 2 and is it working with my inspiron ???

    SATA2 is SATA300, and it will work in your notebook. As for a brand, the following are quite good: Seagate, Western Digital and Samsung. You can buy the cheapest offer from any of them, if they say 2,5" SATA.
