The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

There is no panic over this unless of course you are an average user who shuts Restore down. First off, system restore is limited to as much space as you allow it. Secondly, you can clean your files and have restore delete all but the most recent restore.

The other side of course is having your system just how you want it with all your pers files and having something wreck that, then realizing you have no choice to install your system again as there was no system restore available.
