HDMI = sound and picture, but do I get sound when running trough a "pc" hdmi ? , I mean, if i hook up the 1530 to my HD tv, will I get both sound and picture trough the hdmi or will I have to get the sound from the headphone jack?

HDMI carries sound and video, so yes, if you use your TV's HDMI input you'll have sound and video out of your laptop. I would also hope, but am not sure, that if you had a newer receiver that has HDMI switching you can send the sound through it and have dolby 5.1 (at least ) surround sound.

But to get the sound on the TV, you need to go in the sound manager and change the default output from speakers to Digital Output
