Under ati catalyst control center powerplay always detects my system as plugged in and wont even change the power play settings , so now my GPU is always running at clock speed when i want to udnerclock it to save battery life , its a substantial amount of battery were talking (2-3 hours extra i have a ati x1400) im not sure how to tell which version of catylist control center i have but uner about it says 1.2.2334.37172

My system battery icon changes to plugged in when in add the power supply but ati control center never changes... on a few occasinas ive taken out the battery while the system is plugged in and that may have confused it.. Im noy sure of any other info i could give you...

LOL. I'd visited this page earlier to research your problem, was going to tell you EXACTLY this and when I got back to this page you had already answered. Oh well.
