    i have a dell inspiron 1150 with 256 pc2100 ram...im trying to upgrade but im not sure if i could use pc2700 because i was told that with a BIOS upgrade, my mobo can support pc2700....so im confused...is there a BIOS upgrade that will make my inspiron compatible with pc2700. any help please?...

    It will support pc2700, just that it will get downclocked to 2100 speeds. So there's really no point in getting the faster speed, especially if you're paying more for it.
