Hello guys, I've been lurking in this forum for a while searching the answer to my problem.
Now that I've given up, I'd like to ask for your kind help.
The problem is my ATI X1300's display on Inspiron 6400 displays improperly, mostly with highlighting error in pink; check pics below

I've already updated the driver to the latest version provided in Dell's support section. Anyway, I've found that when I run 3D test, it failed. This must be the cause but I don't know how to fix it. Please kindly suggest me what to do.

    Thanks in advance

hmm...the GPU still WORKS, wether properly or not. It looks like a Driver problem to me. I suggest to update your video card drivers.

Try installing the ATI Catalyst Drivers.

Also, perform a full virus and spyware scan on your computer.

I don't think that is a problem with your display driver. If it was the driver, the whole screen would be pink, not just certain problems. Most likely this is something with XP or you might have a virus/spyware. Run a virus/spyware check first.

What version of XP do you have?
