    HELP big problem with dell 1520!!!

    ok first of all it took dell 1 month do deliver my stuff cause the first time DHL lost the shipping so they had to send me a replacement. so today i finally got it and was so happy but somehow i get screwed again..

    OK HERE IS MY PROBLEM PLZ HELP ME SINCE IM NEW WITH COMPS AND STUFF.
    im using a sprint wireless aircard 595 and it fits and work on the express card slot on my inspiron 700m.........BUT on the dell inspiron 1520 the card fits, BUT IT DOES NOT GO COMPLETELY IN. i called dell and they said the card is incompatible and tried to get me to buy thiS http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?s=dhs&c=us&l=en&cs=19&k=5720+support+broadband+card&cat=all

    can i jus buy a need express card reader that compatible withe sprint card? if so anyone know which one i can buy that will fit into the 1520? also i seen external express card readers but they are not usb, so how exactly do those extarnl express card readers work then? ty!!!!

    Your problem is that your Sprint Wireless card is a 32 PC Card, not an Express Card. (The Inspiron 700m has a PC Card slot, not Express Card) That technology has been discontinued in most notebooks. I am not aware of any type of adapter, but if there is one it would probably be come large device that would end up costing the same as buying an Express Card version of the Sprint wireless card.
