    HI:

I followed the steps reformated the computer and all the junkwares are gone now which is really good~~

however the texts looks kind of weird (example "Recyle Bin"), all the texts doesn't looks like before, it looks like very thin and weak and sort of like the texts without the microsofot clearfont~ do u guys know what i am taking about? i am sure i aready updated the video driver from the dell support drivers.

also I checked the Device manager there are two yellow questions marks there one is Base system Device the other is Ethernet Controller where can i find this two drivers? thanks

Base system device may be the Ricoh driver, but it seems like there should be three of those....

On the Ethernet question that is probably the Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller under 'Network'

Did you install the Dell Quickset? You can adjust font size. I just changed my screen resolution to make the icons/fonts more readable.

Did you do the control panel -> display -> appearance -> Font size -> normal

That is the only thing that could come to mind. :)

does the Microsoft ClearType Tuner PowerToy work better than Dell Quickset? I might give it a try too.

I'm a little confused, do I have to download ClearType from Microsoft site http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...5aad/setup.exe ? Or is it already installed in my computer?

When I right cilck desktop -> Properties -> Appearance, I see an option that allows me to choose Font size (Normal, Large Fonts, Extra Large Fonts), is this the MS Cleartype that you guys are talking about?

    Thanks.

I tried it, but it didn't enlarge the font size, it only enhanced the text appearance with some shadow effect which made it a little more readable.
