I'm using the Kensington Pro 17in. Amazon has it for 50 right now, but ebags might have it for a cheaper price. It has a sleeve that will fit and plenty of room for accessories.

Its pretty good bag. The sleeve gives good protection, and the strap distributes the weight evenly. I was able to fit 2 college books in it with my laptop. They do have a 17in Pro Roller which I wish I would have gotten instead. I think the roller would be better if you plan on taking your laptop everywhere you go.

it does have a sleeve though. This is taken directly from the website. "The curved, shock-absorbing shoulder straps help keep the load light while the padded SnugFit™ sleeve delivers heavy-duty computer protection."

I think it depends on what backpack you are looking at.

The Contour Pro 17in carrying case and contour roller both come with sleeves. There is a Contour backpack, but it does not have a sleeve. The Saddlebag Sport does come with a sleeve.

Another one that I forgot to mention is one from High Sierra. http://www.ebags.com/high_sierra/a_t_gear_access_deluxe_wheeled_computer_case/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=15705

I'm thinking about getting that one because I want a roller with lots of room for books/notebooks.

dumpav, i never said it had a removable sleeve i just said it had a sleeve. i mean come on, i quoted the description from the kensington website. just because it isn't removable doesn't mean it isn't a sleeve. it might confuse people in thinking it can't house a notebook.

I just got the Kensington Contour Pro 17 for my 9300. It has a sort of three tiered system: 1) an inner padded sleeve which the laptop slides into; 2) the padded sleeve slides into what I would call a small soft case that is just big enough to hold the computer tightly, and has handles for carrying. Velcro holds the inner sleeve inside this small case; 3) the small case drops into the center pocket of the main bag, which has a more rugged exterior and also has other pockets for books, etc. The main bag has a heavy duty handle and shoulder strap.

One drawback that is immediately apparent and may make a difference to 9300 owners: the 9300 does _not_ fit into the inner padded sleeve, which is designed to stretch some, but not enough (at least I couldn't make it fit - I'd be interested to hear if others had a different experience). The 9300 will fit into the small soft case, which has some padding, but you lose out on the extra protection of the inner sleeve. It's an OK bag overall, and I like it because I can put the laptop in the small soft case and put that in any bag. But I was dissapointed to see that the inner padded sleeve is essentially useless if you have a 9300.

For anyone else that may still be looking, ebags.com has a Laptop Case Finder feature. Just slect make and model or enter the dimensions, and go. As of right now, there are 45 cases for the 9300, ranging from $19.99 [ :D] to $159.99 [:0]
