hello i was wondering if there is anyway possible to get DV8328 specs or better in a DELL XSP for about 1600 without tax.

DV8328 is a DESKTOP REPLACEMENT LAPTOP and i need this feature in DELL XSP.

    DV8328 specs are:
    AMD Turion64 Mobile Processor ML-37
    2.0 GHZ
1 MB L2 Cache, upto 1600 MHz system bus
    1024 DDR2
    200 GB HardDrive (5400 RPM)
    Lightscribe DVD-Burner
    17' WideScreen
    Windows Home Edition

    Sold for: $1499.99

NOTE: I dont care about LightScribe DVD-Burner much

Till recently, i had my mind set on HP Pavilion DV8328 but hearing the issues with its keyboard is making my decision go awry (which might be a good thing) cause i wasnt planning to get the warranty with it and thank god, i didnt buy it.

So yeah i need a DELL XSP with the same specs as of DV8328 or even better with the price of 1600 without tax as i mentioned above.

Note: Please let me know where i can buy DELL XSP in person and its worth.

    Thank You

Im guessing your referring to the dell XPS systems.

I doubt you will find one for that cheap, unless its the XPS m1210, which wont meet your needs, since its a 12 inch notebook, far from a desktop replacement.

The XPS m1710 starts at about $2300, more if you add some of the things you wanted. It also doesnt have a 200gb hd (could go external) or a 64 bit processor.

I'm not sure why you asked about the XPS. Comparing the HP to an XPS is like comparing apples to hamburgers. They are not even in the same category. The HP would be better compared to an E1705 which configured similarly to the HP would come in around $1600-$1650.
