I recently sent in my 1530 for some work before going back to school, when it had come back to me they, had replaced the systems board(to solve a power issue), the LCD (for dead pixels) and the HD... which I wasnt really expecting.

They included the old one wrapped up in the packaging, but I am unsure how to transfer everything over to the new?

First time I've had to deal with the issue.

You can use an imaging program like Acronis TrueImage or Norton Ghost to basically clone your old hard drive. This works best when the two drives are identically sized, which I assume yours are.
