So I had to reinstall Vista on my 1400. Now, everything works fine except a couple of things. The media direct button no longer works. Media direct is installed and there is still a Media direct partition on the HD. Also, the volume/screen brightness indicators that appear on screen no longer do. Anyone know how to get these back? Thanks!

Did you install Quickset from the Dell downloads?
