You mean you overclocked? Is this supposed to be something new and groundbreaking?

how do you overclock the notebook? I thought the BIOS was locked down to prevent that...

That is correct. (ignore the Xeon, new CPU-Z Beta read it incorrectly)

I did a pinmod on the CPU to force the CPU to run at 800FSB.

Right now I have some instability in windows so may have to increase the voltage a tad. Going to run orthos to check it.

I will be the first person to do this on socket P :D

    ^ For sure worked though!

Seems my processor is not stable at this speed. Will have to also do a VID mod to get it stable. It's close to stable though so should only need a slight increase.
Vista's explorer crashes on boot so gotta increase teh volts!

You could say that. This would be the first attempt at a socket P BSEL mod.
I'm putting it back to stock right now as I gotta research VIN pin's before going any further.

Very glad it worked though! Glad to be the first person to do this :)

NOTE: THIS ONLY WORKS ON THE 667FSB PROCESSORS. Your 800FSB processor's won't be able to overclock as there is no 1066FSB mod available.
So anybody with the 1.5GHz, 1.66GHz and 1.8GHz 667FSB Merom processors can make this work for a decent speed boost once I figure out the small details now.
