Rec'd a terrific 1530. still getting used to everything.

1-question I have has to do w/signing on to Internet Explorer.

I hit 'internet explorer' icon in startup menu -- the spinning dial (mini) appears for 2-4 seconds -- then goes away. I wait...and wait. No internet explorer.
Then i hit Internet Eplorer icon a second/third time. it finally takes and i'm connected.

why the delay? could it be bloatware? I have
    Vista Ultimate--3g ram, 160 hd, 2.4 processor 7500.

You sholuld never suggest reformatting unless there is nothing that fixes the problem.

It's called bloatware and it needs to be disposed of before a laptop will run to it's fullest.
