    Hard Disk Partition

    I bought a new Dell inspiron with windows 7 and 500Gb HD.
    They Haven't provided any partition of Hard Disk.

    I need to partition the HD.
    Plz Help.

    Why do you need to partition the hard disk? Just do a clean install and partition it in the Windows installer... if they didn't give you a reinstall disk, you can get a generic copy of Windows 7 and activate it with your CoA number.

    Just be careful about wiping out any partitions, you probably don't want to kill your recovery partition by mistake. Those things are very convenient.
