    Hello -

Recently I've been having a little issue with my 1500. It works WELL for the most part, but every so often at random times, my HD light will flash, even if I'm doing nothing. This causes periodic 1 sec stutters in games, and in DVD playback. Will changing the Accoustic Mode from Bypass to Performance help, or is there anything else I can do? Thanks.

    1. Give Performance a go.

    2. If that doesn't help, get NHC Dell version, put the hard-drive to Max-performance and Loud (254):

    3. If you still get stutters, try closing background programs one-by-one, especially quick-loaders by Adobe, etc. Not sure what else you can try.

I think you might have that Indexing service on which might be causing the problem....
