    I am looking to buy a hard disk for Inspiron 8600. The ones available on Dell website seems to be pretty costly (around $200). Are there any cheaper options available for Inspiron 8600? Thanks a lot.

    Inspiron 8600s use ATA/IDE type hard-drive interface. You can find some great deals online.

    One place i always look at when buying computer parts is newegg.com. Very reliable and competitive pricing available. The hard-drives in link below are compatible with your Inspiron 8600. You can also shop around other online stores or just get an idea of what you are looking for (if you prefer to buy it in a retail store).
