I just got my new i9300, and I downloaded the HDDlife pro to see how good my hard disk is. It shows like this:

Before I just installed a new hard disk in my another laptop, and it was showed 100% on both bar....so I wonder is this normal for a new i9300 to have such 67% hard disk status?

Hmm, I don't know, I'm sure others can post their results. You might also try HD Tune, it's a good HDD utility.

My 9300 came in at 45%. My computer is only 5 months old so this worries me. What do you guys think?

Mine came in at 45% also but mine is turning a year old in April. I wonder if it depends on which HDD you have (like 5400rpm vs 7200rpm).

Here's mine. I don't know if i would trust this too much. It says work time is only 3 months, and that is suppose to be how long you've had your HDD.
