    Hard drive bracket thingy replacement for M1530?

    Anyone have any idea how to go about getting a spare of that little plastic bracket piece for the hard drive in an M1530? Is there some sort of spare parts listing that I can order from? Any idea what that thing might be called?

    Heh. That's what I'm trying to avoid. Or at least I'm trying to avoid having to explain what it is I want. I was hoping one of the fine folks on NBR would know the part number...or at least where I can find it on my own. ;)

    I have completecare and just told them mine cracked and they sent me a new one. I would bet if you don't have completecare you could still wiggle one out of them though.

    Maybe I'll just try that. Did yours really crack, or were you lying?

    I just want a 2nd one to facilitate swapping hard drives on the fly.

    I wanted one for the exact same reason you did. I installed hackintosh on one HDD and I wanted easy switching!
