Because of the idiocy that is customer support at dell I was stuck on the phone for 3 hours today and most of the people I talked to didn't know their ass from a hole in the ground and kept transferring me to the wrong people.
But twice I gave them MY phone # even though the order I placed was under a different #.
Twice they repeated my phone number back to me later in the conversation with one number incorrect, as if they were trying to trick me...
also in chat, a few times they've asked if they could have my number to "update our records" but I just said "it's still the same"

Yea I'm sure you've all heard it before, but I just needed a place to vent. I just called Dell and got transferred 4 times by people who each wasted about 15 minutes of my time and were unable to help me in the end, and the last guy I spoke to just muttered something and before I could say "Wait, what?" I got transferred. After waiting on hold for about 10 minutes, having no idea where or why I'm being transferred, I hear a click and the line goes dead.

I would call and first thing ask to speak with a supervisor, tell them you have had enough and want a supervisor NOW.

lol i had a bad experience w/customer service today..they called me and told me instead of getting a $100 coupon and a $25 coupon...i'd get either the $25 coupon or the $100 coupon -- "it's up to Dell."
Needless to say I called back and was very firm and told them how bad their customer service was and how nobody listened to me. What did I get out of it? A $25 coupon and $140 credit...lol.
Has Dell ever tried to pull this on you (incorrect phone #)?
