Has anyone ever talked to dell support and negotioted a lower price on a laptop? I was just wondering if it was possible.

Also, is an LCD screen worth the extra cost?

Yes it is possible. All laptops have had LCD screens for years.

    Wrong forum?

Oh sorry, I meant to ask if an LED display was worth the extra money.

Also, how would I go about getting a lower price? Like what would should I say?

Just say you've seen better deals with coupons, you were wondering if we could go any better on the price, my brother got a better price, etc.

They can throw in stuff for free sometimes instead of lowering the price, like warranty service. Or you can OFFER to get more warranty service for a discount, then call and return it or modify your order without it later.

LED offers marginally better battery life and marginally thinner. It's something I can't say is "worth it" because it's 100% preference. Like saying is a Glossy worth it - it's just preference.
