    Has anyone got a laptop through delloutlet.com?
    I am thinking about doing so.
    Has anyone had any or heard of any issues with buying like this?

    I bought a Vostro 1500 there yesterday, and it shipped today.

    I expect it on tuesday. So, I can post back after I receive it.

    I do refurbs all of the time, so I expect a good experience here. Apple's refurb service and products are excellent. I hope the same can be said of Dell.

    I saved ~$350 by getting the refurb over even the sale configurations. So, to me it is worth the risk.

    I bought a s/d m1210 a few weeks ago and it it wasn't scratched or dented.
    There was a tiny spec of white paint on the number seven key that looked like it came from over spray on the assembly line.

    great deal on a great laptop.

    Just ordered a vostro 1500 2ghz, 2gb, 160gb, xga+, 8600m, bluetooth for $1,036

    Hopefully things will work out.
