TLDR version: Salesman changed my order and ripped me off, can't get a hold of anyone to solve it.

So, about two weeks ago a laptop (m17x) I wanted went on Sale so I jumped on it and called Dell up to order. I needed to use their no interest financing because I don't have a credit card with a large enough limit. It took about 5 days to put the order through, because the sales guy kept trying to push more warranty on me. He kept insisting that if I wanted accidental coverage I had to pay what their site labelled as accidental coverage plus an additional $100 a year. I thought he finally gave up on charging me that extra per year when we finally came to a price that fit for the specs/warranty coverage I wanted.

When I got the confirmation email however, he had downgraded my LCD panel without telling me and there were 4 extra warranty charges. I was upset about this and all the time I had wasted when the order should have gone through in a matter of minutes. I was NOT trying get a better deal with him, the $500 off from the sale was fine. After sending 3 emails to Dell and getting only one reply ("This order cannot be cancelled/changed") and two phone calls (one angry, one calm) where they said someone would call me back, I am no closer to a resolution and am very abbreviated.

Does anyone have any better ideas as to how I can get this resolved? Some number or better email to contact?

Typical. Ring them up, say YOU changed my order, if you don't fix it up, I'll go talk to a lawyer and see what they think of it. Or even make a formal complaint to the Canada's equivalent to the ACCC - if there is one!

Yeah, that was my last resort, I was hoping to be somewhat civil because I may still want the laptop. Thanks!
