I placed an order for a dell laptop on July 31 using paypal. My paypal then showed a hold placed on the payment for the laptop. The amount was subtracted from my available balance.
On August 10, I checked my paypal and it showed that the hold on the funds was removed. The amount was added back to my available balance.
I called the order status number and it says my order is in the build stage. I chatted with an XPS representative and he told me to call customer care. They are closed for tonight, so I have to wait until morning to call.
Any ideas of why this would happen? Anyone have this happen to them?

It should be fine... I think dell only puts a hold on your account only for a certain amount of days to see if the money is actually there. I ordered with a credit card it was pending for a couple of weeks then it totally disappeared. Then after a couple days I was charged once my laptop shipped. So there should be no need to call.
