    Hi

I have re-ordered my Vostro 1500 after returning my first one.

I re-ordered the same screen which was a 15.4" Wide Screen WXGA with Truelife (1280x800)

However, when I received my order confirmation and packing slip my screen is described as 15.4 WXGA+ True Life.

It doesn't state the resolution but the 1440x900 screen is known as the WXGA+ on the Dell website.

Not sure whether that + on my order means the better screen or simply 'plus truelife'

    Am I making sense?

    Probably not!

    Thanks anyway!

the + indicates that they upped your resolution from 1280x800 to 1440x900.

OK - So they have upgraded my screen without me asking for it, or paying. Nice!

On the other hand they are the screens notorious for grain. I hope my good fortune will not turn into misfortune!

That's what they said last week. To avoid delay, they will up the display in some case.

It is not like that actually.... Many ppl prefer the WXGA+ and so more of those screens are ordered and hence more number of complaints from them.... People have also reported grainy problems from WXGA and WSXGA too ;)
