    Have an m1330? Uninstall pc-cillin! Fixes sleeping, other problems!

    I recently purchased an m1330 (c2d 2.5ghz, 4gb, 320gb hd, LED), and it came with Trend Micro's PC-Cillin along with other bloatware. It wouldn't sleep or hibernate.. the screen would turn black and then it would hang for a while, then restart. I got very frustrated, tried reformats, etc..

    I then uninstalled pc-cillin, and it's all solved. Sleeping works perfectly! I use avg free instead, its also much lighter on system resources.

    So if you are having problems (esp with hanging while going to sleep, etc), get rid of pc-cillin!

    i suggest you to uninstall all the bloatware!

    I actually did the EXACT same thing as you. PC-Cillin was causing my 1330 to wake from sleep with errors or not at all. Did a clean install and used AVG-Free. Was also considering Avast.
