    Having Hard Time Getting My Bluetooth Mouse to Work

    I have Dell Inspiron 6000 , i would like to use Microsoft bluetooth mouse with out having to use bluetooth reciver that came with the mouse,,,
    is there a built in reciver in Dell Inspiron 6000? if so. how can i get it working.
    im having hard time.....

    If you ordered bluetooth with your laptop, then yes you don't have to the receiver that came with the mouse. If you didn't order Bluetooth with your laptop, then you'll have to use the receiver that came with the mouse.

    Also, you can buy a USB Bluetooth adapter, and that should also work with your mouse.

    you can also get a bluetooth Dell OEM part off ebay.com for about $30....(i have one on the way)..its cheaper this way than adding it on dell's site for i think its about $60 or so.

    ...you will have to install it into your laptop (internally) btw...

    Or you can get it directly from Dell Spare Parts for about $20 ($12 + $8 S&H).

    I personally think it's a lot easier and faster than a RAM install/upgrade... on the M140/E1405 anyway. For instructions on the 6000, see here:
