    The headphone jack to my dell studio 1537 is messed up. How can i go about replacing it? Thank you

    What is "messed up"? Physically damaged? The stock ports on the 1537 are soldered to the motherboard (as opposed to a daughterboard on some machines), so you'll have to replace the mainboard if you want to replace those.

    You can, of course, get a USB or ExpressCard soundcard, but I don't think you can get a straight up USB to [whatever the name of the headphone jack is] adapter. Not 100% sure on that. You can also get USB headphones, though.
