I swapped motherboards on my Inspiron 1520 - went from intergrated x3100 to 8600M GT ... It requried me to hack up the heatsinc for the CPU

Does anyone know the part number for the heatsink for the cpu with 8600M GT? I dont want to keep using the hacked up heat sink.

I'll get a picture of it later.

    Heat sinc? :)

I'd say the best bet is to ebay the part. Part numbers might be found in the online service manuals at support.dell.com, just look at upgrade manuals. It may be hard to find one for your lappy since it's relatively new so you may have to choke up the dough to Dell...
