    Does anyone know how to put keys back on the keyboard? I have an E1705. My oh-so-dear little 2-year old just ripped off the G, Alt, and the Windows Sign keys. I have all the little plastic thingys and I can see how they snap back on but I they are soooo small, I don't see how I'll be able to snap them back on. Can anyone help??

    You should be able to snap the keys right back on without any issues. If there are though, you can always get a keyboard replacement.

    Just try placing them as they were, and push them in with a little force. Don't push too hard.. just in case. If the snaps/clips are intact, the keys should be back on.

    I once vacuumed my Backspace key off the keyboard; my face must have been priceless!

    Anyway, sesshomaru is right. You should hear the keys snap into place when you apply force

    Well, I've never tried snapping keys back on the laptop keyboard, but you can find cheap E1705 keyboards for sale on ebay for around $10-15.

    :lol: Great visual. I think all the blood would rush out of my head as I stood with my mouth half open for about 15 seconds!

    @psychokitty - that's one crazy avatar...

    Exactly...assuming you have the accidental damage protection warranty.

    You can always check ebay for keyboards also if you couldn't put the keys back. They will cost no more than $20
