Hi, I have an E1705 with the build in bluetooth module. I reinstalled XP Pro with SP2, all the post SP2 updates, and I'm using the Microsoft Bluetooth drivers.

I can get my E1705 to detect my Logitech v270 mouse and it seems that all is well... But when I plug and unplug a USB flash drive into the laptop, the mouse looses the conenction and stops working. I can't get the mouse to reconnect. I have to reboot and reinstall the mouse. This happens every time I unplug the USB flash drive.

Has anyone had this problem? I'd love to hear some suggestions...

    thanks
    David

Yeah, the M$ driver's are actually pretty crummy, I had a similar problem in my e1505 where the bt things were flaky. If it's not the drivers it sounds like it may be an IRQ conflict. Check to see if there is a resource conflict.

I installed the Dell BT driver, which apparently is made by Toshiba, and the bluetooth reliability is much better. Thanks for the tip...
