Several posts have pointed to http://aibal.fileburst.com/MediaDirect20.zip to download it, but it's not there anymore. Please help! I need this quickly and don't have time to wait on Dell's tech support and then the time to get a CD mailed to me. Is there anywhere else I can download it? Thanks.

I should probably add that I did request backup CDs from Dell awhile back. They sent me a driver cd, os cd, and application cd (which I discovered ONLY contains powerdvd). Thinking that I had backups of everything, I reformatted and deleted the partitions. Then I discover I didn't have a backup of mediadirect. Oops!

Just wondering... why do you need it so quickly? You can play media in Windows, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to wait 2 days to receive a CD from Dell.

Please don't ask for the Media Direct installation download.

Dell does not have it available on their site for to download for a reason, so any links that contain Media Direct Installation files are illegal. While it might be helpful to users for it be downloadable, until Dell uploads it to their site, links will be deleted.

If you need the reinstallation files, call Dell's Tech Support and request the disc.
