My D600 was working fine until it shut off on me and will not turn on. When it died the battery was fully charged. When I press the "on" button nothing happens - no lights - no sound. Same thing on A/C power - nothing. I removed drive & cards and press "on" button and still no sign of life. Any suggestions? Also, whne the A/C power is plugged in no lights go on. When the laptop was working a light would go on when A/C power was plugged indicating it was charging or fully charged - no there is nothing.

    Thanks

I am not sure with the A/C adapter light but same issue was happened to my D600.
I contacted Dell and they changed the motherboard.

    Good lock.
