Hi,
I just ordered a 9400 from the UK dell outlet and it was high spec 2.16GHZ 2gb ram 100gb 7200rpm geforce 7800
however in the screen section it just said 17" I assumed it would have the
17" UltraSharp™ Wide Screen WUXGA (1920 x 1200) Display with TrueLife™
I am not sure i got emailed the service tag number and it stated it has a
XD563 SUB-ASSEMBLY, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, VERTICAL ASSEMBLY,17WU, 9400, EUROPEAN MANUFACTURING FACILITY
My mate has a 9400 with the nice glossy screen and his is a
HF804 SUB-ASSEMBLY, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, VERTICAL ASSEMBLY, 17WX+, 9400, EUROPEAN MANUFACTURING FACILITY
Is there anyone who can confirm what my screen is as all the above makes little sense to me
Regards
-
I'm pretty sure you got the WUXGA screen - the first line has the fragment "17WU", while compared to a second line fragment, "17WX+".
