I got this Dell Inspiron 9100 from someone and the windows won't start up. I get a message saying windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware conf. problem. ect.

Someone told me to go to the Dell site and download the driver. Not really sure what driver. I didn't get any discs or anything with this laptop so putting in the windows xp disc is not an option. Anyone know how to fix this solution? Is there a site I can go to where I can download something from my other computer and then pop the disc into the Dell to fix it? Thanks.
