Everytime i restart or boot up the E1505 it goes to the max resolution and not the resolution i originally configured. The resolution i configured was: 1280 by 768 and the max resolution it goes to after restart or boot is: 1680 by 1050. Dell support said it is normal but i don't believe that should happen because resolution can be user-configurable. RIGHT?

P.S.- My vision sucks so that is why im *****in.

That won't keep the settings when you reboot. XP sets it back to the native resolution because that is what the video card driver tells it to do when you reboot. Adjusting it in Display settings is only a temporary for your current windows session. That's why dell stated that this is normal.

I think i know of a way, but i need to check it first. I don't know if the Catalyst software works or not.
