    I m using Dell Studio 1440 laptop which has windows vista 32 bit installed.The problem I am facing is that when I power up the laptop it does not start and give 4 BEEPS AND SCREEN IS BLACK BUT NO BOOTING IS THERE......PLZ HELP ME WHAT SHOULD I DO,Its only 4 months that i bought this laptop....:(

    You can try re-seating the memory, holding the power button for a couple seconds with the power and battery out, etc...

    But if you've only had the laptop for four months and you got it from Dell, you should still be under warranty and Dell should fix the thing for you. Call them up.

    I would try;

    - Testing your AC adapter with a multi-meter

    - Use a known good Dell 90 watt AC adapter

    - Trying to display your laptop externally

    - Removing the battery and AC adapter and holding down the power button for 30 seconds 2-3 times.

    - Reseatting the RAM/using known good RAM.
