    HELP!!

I was in the beginning process of this guide, and i got to the part where it prompted me to eject the media direct cd and insert the OS cd, then press any key to continue. However, I accidentally pressed a key on the keyboard without replacing the Media Direct CD with the OS Cd. Now, my media direct keys won't work, so i can't eject the cd out, and I'm stuck on the booting part with the big DELL logo. is there anyway to solve this problem?

This is on an XPS M1530 by the way.

    Maybe an unrolled paper clip?

Some people have had problems with their M1330 and they had to replace their media bar.

I would try to reboot and start from scratch. (Hold power button down to force reboot) Maybe a fresh reinstall will help?

Otherwise, call Dell. Sounds like a hardware failure.

i agree just start over....restart and reformat/partition your hard drive and whatever then eject the cd and insert os cd....if you absolutely can't get your cd out then I guess you'll have to call dell or open up your computer and eject it manually....if your real tech savvy.....i dont think it would be all that hard also try searching google in case (i doubt it but...) there happens to be a keyboard shortcut or something to eject a disc. unrolled paper clip might work to if you could hook it on the disc (preferable in the little hole so you dont risk wrecking it) and pull it out
