    Help cant burn dvds

    Ok so i just got my dell 6000 on saturday got the dvd cd burner 8x combo and i try to click on the icon burn dvd and cds and then it says install then says insert disc but i look every where and i got no disc am i mission something or do i have to buy something...am i using the wrong program...HELLLLPPP!!!!

    You should be using Sonic RecordNow. Check in the programs file on the c: drive for a sonic folder (i think that's what it is listed under). See if there is an installation.ext or setup.exe file located there. If it is, you can use that repair Sonic.

    If not, call dell and request the Sonic CD. You'll receive it usually in 2 business days, & free of charge.

    Alternatively, you can go with another 3rd party software like Nero.
